If your credit is so bad you shudder every time the word 'credit card' is mentioned, this one is for you.

No matter how much you hate them because you had bad experiences with them, at some point you'll have to get a credit card. In today's world, you just can't get very far without them.

But what to do if your credit is so bad that no credit card company would ever give you a credit card?

Next time you're shopping at Macy's, GAP, or whatever department store you have - say 'yes' when they offer you to sign up for their credit card. The credit limit won't be so high - maybe even as low as a few hundred dollars, and the rate will be SKY HIGH, but at least it's a start.

Just make sure you always pay it off in full and NEVER carry a balance (for your own sake, you don't want to pay that interest...), and you'll be on your way to repair your credit.
